First of all I want to say that I felt safe getting this cache today, but I know this cache will be very very dangerous very soon. If you fall through this ice, there isn't enough room to get out.
Now with that out of the way.
We went for this cache in warmer weather and shorter boots. The smell was shockingly bad. The water several different colors. My boots were way to short and we left without giving this much of a try.
This fall I saw some hip waters at an auction. I bought them thinking of this cache.
Today, I finally got around to attempting this one again. I put on the hip waiters and in I went. As I crawled in, I looked at the high water lines, I think chest wouldn't be high enough then.
The second tunnel I tried was the right one, so my tracks won't help you find the right tunnel.
