we thought this was going to be a quick grab on our way to ski at white cap.didn't turn out that way. batteries in gps were low and not giving good reading.changed batteries and the hunt is on.wandered around in the deep snow for about 10 minutes before thinking maybe I put the bad batteries back in.turns out while changing the batteries the first time the micro chip fell out,lucky it fell on the seat.Jane spotted it .put chip back in the gps and everything was working again.now the gps showed the cache behind where the snow had been plowed to clear the parking lot.started towards the cache and the snow was deeeep.we decided to get the shovel from the car and make a path.mission complete. sign log.thanks for the adventure.
