Sad legend.

Lovely walk along the lake to get to this cache. When we got to ground zero, we noticed something, but based on the hint, we didn't think that could be it. We searched around a bit, and then decided to check out the thing that we had seen at first. (Neither one of us wanted to touch it at first. I have seen smaller versions of something similar at some cemeteries, and I didn't want to be disrespectful if it was someone's offering...) Carefully peaked inside, and whew, it was the cache!

Thanks for the cache, Lil Otter and Cigarmonkey!

infoThis is the original cache type consisting, at a bare minimum, a container and a log book. Normally you'll find a tupperware container, ammo box, or bucket filled with goodies, or smaller container ("micro cache") too small to contain items except for a log book. The coordinates listed on the traditional cache page is the exact location for the cache.
