Got to parking spot, donned our gear and off we went. Within first 50 feet, Adam's friend Nick was wet up to his crotch and was not going any further. Dawn, Adam and I made it across the first obstacle without getting too wet. Our feet were damp. Adam turned back and TJ never made it across the first hurdle. Dawn and I walked maybe 50 more feet and decided it was not worth our time getting totally soaked. We need chest waders to be safe here. So back we went. Dawn missed the log and under the swamp she went up to her crotch. We got her out and I lucked out making it across dry. I do not know IF I will ever attempt this cache again. If I do--it will be with waders on. Nick's clothes are now in the wash and hopefully tomorrow will be a better day caching!!!

Went back the next day in daylight--path to right will get you back to GC just muddy. A much better path to go on!!

infoA Mystery Cache is the “catch-all” of cache types, this form of cache can involve complicated puzzles you will first need to solve to determine the coordinates. The only commonality of this cache type is that the coordinates listed are not of the actual cache location but a general reference point, such as a nearby parking location. Due to the increasing creativity of geocaching this becomes the staging ground for new and unique challenges.
