This topped off a wonderful birthday present, an afternoon of geocaching with my family! We did pretty well until we decided to bushwack the last 500 feet or so. Didn't see that path there! The worst thing was the amazingly large brambles, pricker bushes, and nettles. I looked like I got in a fight with a bear and lost by the time we got through! Carried the little guys and stomped down a wide path so the older kids could get through, and boy did I feel stupid when I emerged onto the path right near the cache! Hubby thought I was crazy to go straight through the woods to get to a cache so he hung out in the clearing below, only to find the path and meet us at the cache about 30 minutes later with a smirk! Good thing for the first aid kit in the cache...took some little toys and replenished with a few extras. Nothing fishing-themed though. Thanks for the adventure!

 | This is the original cache type consisting, at a bare minimum, a container and a log book. Normally you'll find a tupperware container, ammo box, or bucket filled with goodies, or smaller container ("micro cache") too small to contain items except for a log book. The coordinates listed on the traditional cache page is the exact location for the cache. |
