It was a privilege to be able to run this amazing Amazing Race with the Fatalistic Four (beezers, furry hermit and lobsters). We all had such a great time with the whole thing! Thanks to Dr. Doolittle and Goldie Diggers for putting this together.
I have heard that some teams split up along the race route to make things go more quickly but this was the only cache where the Fatalistic Four split up. We were all having far too much fun to have a team member or two miss out just to make our time faster! But with the two halves to this one being so far apart we thought it wouldn't be so bad to split up. I ended up with the loquacious furry hermit and we amused ourselves by re-hiding the container a little more difficult to get to than when we found it. Muah ha ha ha ha ha!!!!! We rejoined Lobsters and beezers who were having a difficult time on the other end of the bridge. This was when I got the nasty splinter in my hand that was with me until the end of the race. This was a tricksy one, we found it at 12:43 PM. TFTC!
