Found it  djhobby found A Genuine Doggone Whodunnit! (Unknown Cache)     
 
Solved the puzzle with just a little nudge from OP. Awesome location. The cache container was open, and it seemed like it had a ton of signatures in it other than who has signed here. The log was pretty wet. Tommy found a new place to hang out on the weekends.

The only commonality of this cache type is that the coordinates listed are not of the actual cache location but a general reference point, such as a nearby parking location.
