Attended weathernowcast attended Sixth Annual Spring Equinox Hike

Sunday, March 17, 2013New York

Ashokan Cobble

35 deg f sunny dusting of snow

I thoroughly enjoyed the company of Andrew, Bill, Michelle, Tony, Weston and the famous Ralph Ryndak at the event this year. I have to say the food, spirits, beer and friendship overflowed this year. Perhaps the small group and wonderful time of friendship on the trails made it all the better. It was probably my favorite Equinox Picnic yet. I can't believe how much food we shared! I wish you all a joyous Vernal Season and that you experience the rebirth that nature annually creates that we humans so often miss. With the last Winter Storm of the season, I thank you for sharing the afternoon with me. A special reminder for the upcoming March Snow: Stop and smell the snowflakes--they can smell like rain this time of year.

Skokl!
