Vee-Dub II

Vee-Dub the Tortoise Bug is no ordinary Travel Bug. He is a strong competitor in the 2005 Cannonball Run Travel Bug Race across the continental United States (ala the Cannonball Run movie). He is racing over 40 other travel bugs. Last year our original Vee-Dub the Tortoise Bug WON THE RACE!

"Slow and steady wins the race." Please help Vee-Dub the Tortoise Bug II so that he can win this year's race!

Please follow these race rules when moving Vee-Dub along. Vee-Dub the Tortoise Bug II cannot "jump" over states (like traveling in an airplane). This means that when he moves out of a geocache in one state, he can only move to a geocache in an adjoining state (states must share a common geographical border). Vee-Dub II must also be physically placed in a cache in each state he visits (no virtual logs). Finally, please place Vee-Dub II in easily accessible and heavily visited caches to increase his chances of being the first to reach the finish line in New York.

Remember the story...the Tortoise may not have been fast, but he never stopped for a moment. Please keep him moving, always east, state by state.

I wanted to run him through my Idaho cache. I leave for Montana tomorrow. I plan on dropping him in Great Falls on Wendsday or Helena on Thursday that is as far East as I am going

Great little stop in Idaho - this was a fun little cache. However, as I am still going East to Montana (June 4 to June 10) I thought I 'd move him one more state closer to his goal.
