This bug's mission is to travel from event to event, providing a gathering spot for other bugs, tags, and coins before they move along.

About This Item

The bug basket started as a handmade basket from Hawaii. When it made it's voyage to the mainland, the basket was carrying Hawaiian chocolates, macadamia nuts and coffee.  Unfortunately, the Hawaiian basket had fallen apart during its travels and handling and has been retired and replaced with an asian wooden basket.  The asian wooden basket has finally met its match and has been retired.

The basket is now a minature blue plastic laundry basket. As time goes along maybe the basket may change again from time to time.

    Another fun coffee event this morning. Smaller group this month due to the CITO down in Orange County for Earth Day, but that's OK. Sprucing up the bug basket for the next event which happens next Tuesday when the full moon rises over Claremont.

    Another fun Full Moon Rising event in the books. The moon rose above the clouds near the end of the event and once up, we decided to call it on account of the cold. Small group, but enjoyable.
