About this item:
Dougie has decided to retire from professional hockey, but he would like to take one more road trip before he hangs up the skates. His goal is to visit arenas around the National Hockey League one last time, and have his picture taken in front those arenas. Dougie’s journey began with a visit to the Air Canada Centre in Toronto. Please take him with you if you’re traveling to another NHL city. Thanks for your help!

Dougie and I had recently traveled down to Tampa to visit the arena where history was made. We went down to the St. Pete Times Forum to visit the place where the Tampa Bay Lightning won the Stanley Cup this year. Dougie's mission is to visit hockey arenas around the country and it is only fitting that he got to visit this one. Peedlechip and her husband T picked Dougie up in a cache in Keystone, CO and immediately started watching the Stanley Cup play-offs with the little guy. Little did they know that being from Florida, they actually would get to take him to the very arena where the Stanley Cup was won.

Dougie played golf with Peedy and Peedlechip in early July before he was about to take a trip with Peedlechip down to Tampa to have his picture taken in front of the St. Pete Times Forum, site of the Tampa Bay Lightning's Stanley Cup Victory.

We took Dougie on a hike up to Dinah's cache today but didn't leave him there because we are taking him on to a city with a NHL hockey arena as he wishes. We had a great hike and we took pictures with Dougie and Geo my personal TB. Soon Dougie will have his picture taken in front of a stadium, hopefully, as he wishes.

Dougie, Peedlechip and T are photographed watching the six game of NHL Stanley Cup playoffs between the Tampa Bay Lightning and the Philadelphia Flyers. Since Dougie is with friends from Florida, he is being polite and rooting for Tampa Bay.

Found Dougie in the Johns cache in Keystone, CO. We are going to honor his wish to visit towns with NHL teams and have his picture taken in front of the arena. We had a cool time with Dougie that first evening watching the game between San Jose and Calgary on the tube over a few beers and Dougie regaled us with tales of his career.
