    The Geico puppy was happy to travel to Augusta, the capital of Maine. While here, it sought out a number of caches. Alas, that included one that was missing, one that was too small, one that was in pieces...it's beginning to sound like a Goldilocks story.

    Before leaving the area, I HAD to find a safe & secure location, even if it was just outside the capital borders. (It did get a good visit!)

    It also can be noted that the Geico Gekko was not traveling on the puppies back, but a tag with its number was attached instead. I'm not sure how long that all happened, but it still travels on. (Note: New hand-written tag can be seen in some of the photographs.)

    • Is puppy a veteran? While in Maine&#39;s capital of Augusta, and after visiting the capitol building, this Geico puppy crossed the street to the nearest available cache. Unfortunately, the Vietnam Memorial Cache was a bit to small to serve as quarters. Still a nice visit!
