Our wish for the travel bug, Edward, is to travel to El Paso Texas. We want it to go to El Paso because it's in a part of the U.S. we have never been to and we heard they have great Tex-mex food.
El Paso is in the desert biome. In the desert biome it's hot and dry during the day, and cool at night. It usually gets only centimiters of rain a year. Desert biome also has very dry land either dried up dirt or sand. Because of the harsh weather, animals have addapted to the heat and became nocturnal. Their are some cute animals that live their like Green Anoles, Green Iguanas, Sothern Flying Squirrels and Rock Squirrels. But, watch your back their are also some pretty dangerous animals to like snakes including The Western Dimond Back, Southern Copper Head , and Mexican Milk Snake. There are also lots of bats that call Texas home like the Big Brown Bat, Ghost Faced Bat, and the Mexican Free Tailed Bat. Along with all the animals there are also plants like the Desert Willow, Black Foot Daisy, Ganzania , Desert Marigold, Mexican Blue Oak , Honey Mosquite, Palo Verde, Farry Buster, Yellow Bells and Arizona Rosewood.
