I left a trackable
My cuz had it and he got me started on this so he gave me this to get me started on my journey and I am headed to Texas to set this thing on it's path to a new geocacher
Snagged this TB today!
Rusty: Looked and looked and was about to give up. The GPS brought me about 20 feet away from where I finally found the cache. I had gone back to the car and saw something. I thought. “That’s pretty far from GZ but it won’t hurt to look there”. Didn’t hurt a bit. Dropping you here safe travels.
The Wild Wild West in Kearny Mesa: Came back to avenge a previous DNF. This was proving to be a toughie. Was not going to give up on this. Finally, I got my bearings and looked in the right direction and made the find.
Freshwater Cache of the Day-Largemouth Bass: Was doing some shopping after work so checked to see if there were any caches nearby. Yes! Quick park and grab. Left my signature penguin.
A Dog’s Deal: this was the last of 27 caches for today. Heading back to San Diego/Orange County for us and had to stop for just one more. Grabbed the trackable that was here.
Colorado River-Yuma: Dopey Duck and I did the Ocean to Ocean and Dark Cell Poltergeist Caches right before this one. We drove over the truss bridge and through Winterhaven on the side street. OMG! That was a terrible road. Drove slowly to not damage my car. Not well maintained at all! Nevertheless we made it to GZ and enjoyed the view of the river. It is amazing the difference in landscapes on either side.
