Current GOAL: Horton, CircumConUS Racer is competing in the Race and his goal is to travel to Texas, then Florida, then Maine, then Minnesota, then Washington and finally California. Please help him circumnavigate the conterminous United States, making these required "stops" along the way.

These are some of the rules:

1. Travel bugs will follow a counter-clockwise route around the US. The required stops are at lease one cache placement in the following states: California (starting state and cache), Texas, Florida, Maine, Minnesota, Washington, and back to the starting cache IN THAT ORDER. The bugs must trace the states in this order so any skipping of these goal states means backtracking. All other states and countries can be skipped.

2. Bugs must be physically placed in a cache in each state visited. No "I was here with the bug" logs, someone else has to retrieve the bug after placement.

3. After the start, no TB racer owners can handle ANY of the racers. The actions of third parties are not under the owners' control. They have a long race to run, so negative interference is not encouraged. Please be considerate and fair to the racers and help them on the way.

4. After the start, no more than two race bugs may be placed in any given cache.

This Guy was stuffed into a small cache. I took him out to make some room. After getting back to the car, I read the tag. OOPS If I grab it, its going back to chicago with me. I dropped it in the next cache I went to in Iowa. Jake

I've already put 10,000 miles on my car this year. I don't think MotherGoose would be happy with some more miles. We'll try to move it a few miles North or West toward MN.

Apparently IowaBeaver's wife didn't allow a road trip to Minnesota to drop off this bug. I can't promise MN, but maybe closer in northeast Iowa.
