THIS TRAVEL BUG IS ROMING THE WORLD LOOKING FOR INFORMATION.

THIS GLASS AND CERAMICS TUBE WAS GIVEN TO ME MANY YEARS AGO. i WAS TOLD IT WAS FROM A FAR AWAY COUNTRY AND WAS USED AS CURRENCY AT SOME TIME. hERE ARE THE QUESTIONS FOR WHICH I AM TRYING TO FIND ANSWERS:

2) WHERE WAS IT MADE?

3) WHEN WAS IT MADE?

4) WAS IT EVER USED AS CURRENCY, AS AN ORNAMENT, OR FOR ANY OTHER USE?

5) HOW WAS IT MADE?

About This Item

What am I?

ANCIENT HAND MADE FIRED GLASS AND CERAMIC TUBE WITH COLOR PATTERNS. DIAMETERS AND PATTERNS CHANGE SLIGHTLY BUT IN ALL SAMPLES THE CORE GLASS IS ALWAYS OBSIDIAN COLORED.
