This travel bug is one of 27 being launched by teachers across the country. Its Discovery-themed mission is to accomplish the following by May 1, 2010.

Discovery – Discover new places by visiting at least three different states.

• Animal Planet – Spend some time in a cache that is within 2 miles of a zoo or animal sanctuary/preserve.

• Planet Green – Visit a cache that is within 2 miles of a destination that focuses on sustainability and “Going Green.” E.g., recycling center, windmill, waste-to-energy plant, hybrid car dealership, etc.

• TLC – Hang out close to (within 1 mile) to one of these places of learning: library, museum or school.

• Return to a cache near Discovery Communications in Silver Spring, MD.

i have already been to this geocache before, but when i looked online and saw that there was a tracking bug, i just had to go grab it.
edit (i really hate to say it but while on a 2 week trip to germany (which i didnt have any time to go geocaching 😟 ) i did have this bug with me, but sometime in those 2 weeks i guess it decided to walk off because when i got back in to new york i was wanting to drop it in a cache on the way home but i could not find it.

Actually I was looking for a cache large enough to drop off a TB Jeep Team 1 and found this one. I will place it in a location to meet the 'Animal Planet' goal sometime this week. Great Find.
