This bug started out near my wife’s hometown of Portumna, County Galway, Ireland and has decided to try to follow, generally, in the footsteps of her immigrant journey from Ireland, to Montana and then to Oregon (a voyage our family has made many times in the last 20 years, both eastward and westward). Along the way we have seen and known many special places.
This bug, made from 300 million year old Connemara marble, started out in a special place of its own: the Riverrun Cache (GC2 EBE ), in the nearby village of Terryglass, on the River Shannon. Its target end-point cache is the Smith Stagecoach Stop cache (GCH APK), which we own, located in the Tillamook State Forest, west of Portland, Oregon.
Along the way, The Irish Voyager TB would like to collect a brief story from each person who handles it about the most special place you know, and why that place is special to you.
Let us hear from you, and let’s keep this bug a-moving please.
