The mission of this coin is to be returned to the hands of the owner as many times as possible. I want it to travel from event to event and end up coming back to me. This probably means it should stay in SE Texas unless you think there is a good chance we might both be traveling to the same out of town event. It would like to move from event to event, cache to cache, or cacher to cacher locally.
NEW GOAL!
ALL BUGS RACE HOME
to Houston, TX
There are geocoins involved for those who help our bugs the most. The one who gives a bug the biggest jump (mileage) towards home will win a coin, and anyone who delivers a geocoin to a Houston event or cache will be in a drawing for one. Please help us get our bugs home!
I am in love with these Hogwild coins. I bought a five pack thinking I was going to trade with someone. Instead, I released two and kept two in my coin collection, activated. This one I was going to keep as a trading item and then decided to give it to my brother as a birthday present. I sent it in a birthday card from Texas to North Carolina. Two weeks later, the card was returned to sender from Jacksonville FL. The envelope had torn right where the coin had been, and I thought someone ganked the coin until I saw it sitting on my dining room table with the mail. Somehow it had traveled to the wrong place and back again and fell out right as it arrived home. I decided the coin just didn't want to belong anywhere else and sent my brother a different coin. In the words of a ranger I once knew who was debating on keeping a dog until she chased a bear away from his truck - "It's a keeper".
So please keep it going!
