Current Goal

If you retrieve this TB you can't get a FTF until the curse is lifted. This traveler is a reminder to all the paricipants in the Curse of the FTF! (4 corners) series that they are CURSED until they hide a geocache! It also documents the growth of the series.

About This Item

This Travel Bug comes with the following guidelines:
1. If you Grab this TB, you will be cursed if you choose not to place another new "Curse of the FTF" cache within 1 month, in order to extend the series. , the choice is yours and yours alone!

2. If you choose to avoid the curse by placing the next cache in this series, the resulting cache must contain the words "Curse of the FTF #_ !(4 corners)" in it's title; subsequent cache titles should reflect the appropriate series number.

3. The new cache should be placed within 100 miles from zip code 87413 this includes but is not limited to,Farmington,Aztec,Bloomfield,Cuba,Durango,Cortez,Silverton,Bluff,Blanding.

4. You may choose any type of cache (i.e. Traditional,Multi, Puzzle, etc) and any type/size of container you desire, as long as the TB that goes with the series fits (it will fit most micros, but not nanos).

5. You can only be the First To Find once in this series, in order to give other cachers an opportunity to score a FTF.

6. The nature of the curse is that if you fail to continue the series by posting a new "Curse of the FTF" within the allotted 1 month, you will be prevented from ever getting another FTF until the curse is lifted (Ha! Ha!).

7. You must grab the TB (TB33JAK) from the cache that cursed you and place it in the cache that removes said curse. Make sure you adhere to the guidlines of the TB, and that you log it in the cache AFTER publication (to avoid giving watchers a leg up).

8. On your listing on the short Description put......................................"YOU ARE NOT OBLIGATED TO HIDE A CACHE TO FIND AND LOG THIS CACHE JUST LEAVE TB.THANKYOU
Since a small group of cachers in the area seem to have cornered the market on FTF's, we decided to spread the love. Or should I say... CURSE! INSIDE THE CACHE IS A CURSED TB(TB33JAK)IF YOU WANT TO PLAY ALONG JUST FOLLOW THE GUIDLINES ON THE TB PAGE.IF NOT JUST FIND AND LOG LIKE ANY OTHER CACHE,JUST LEAVE TB THANKYOU."....................................... on the long Description you can put anything you want.

9. If the FTF does not wish to carry on the series, please state so in your log, and leave the TB in the cache, in order to allow the 2nd or so on the option. By way of clarification, there is no requirement. However, it is hoped that you will play along with the rules of the game so that other geocachers in the 4 corners area can enjoy it. If you do not feel that you can place a quality cache in the 4 corners area in the next month, I would ask that you leave TB in cache.
