The TB has five old UK Pennies with the dog tags. We use the pre decimal UK Penny as our logo and try to leave one in the caches that will take them. (we can not get them in a micro as the pennies are to big for them) So what better than to use them for one of our TB’s The pennies with this TB tag represent the King’s and Queen’s of the 20th century. Starting with.
Queen Victoria: Born 1819, Reigned from 1839 to 1901. (62 Years)
King Edward VII: Born 1841, Reigned from 1901 to 1910. (9 Years)
King George V: Born 1865, Reigned from 1910 to 1936. (26 Years)
King Edward VIIl: Born 1894, Reigned from 20th Jan 1936 to 10th Dec 1936. (10 Mouths)
King Edward VIII was never crowned king as he abdicated on 10th December 1936)
for that reason there was no coins in circulation.
King George VI: Born 1895, Reigned from 1936 to 1952. (16 Years)
Queen Elizabeth II: Born 1926, Reigned from 1952 to Present date.
