Current Goal

There are some great places to do some hiking down in Tucson Arizona! Since the Karma stick doesn’t fly, it will hitchhike with geocachers the entire way. Hopefully it can make it by March. If not… its all cool.

Once in Tucson, it will need to be delivered to a special person. Please contact me as it gets close.

About This Item

	The Stick… This isn’t just any travel bug and hiking stick! Together they make the “Caching Karma Stick”. They hold the key to your Caching Karma. Anyone that helps the stick on its journey will surely have good Caching Karma!
	Karma Convergence… Karma Convergence takes place any time a cacher rubs the Karma Stick. A sense of peace, love and the nearest cache will probably overcome you. If you have been in contact with the Karma Stick please log a note. Everyone loves a picture, so post'em if you got'em.
	The Handoff… Needless to say, nobody wants to take a chance with his or her Caching Karma. Not to mention everyone else’s! That is why you will be required to meet up with the next Geocacher at a pre-defined cache and handoff the stick. A picture of the handoff is always awesome.
	Who to Handoff to… That is entirely up to you. Remember, you will be entrusting your Caching Karma and a really nice hiking stick with the next Geocacher. There is a discussion in the forums to discuss the travels and assist in handoffs. PLEASE, don't pass the Karma Stick to someone that doesn't understand the responsibility involved... we would hate for everyone's Caching Karma to be stuffed away in someone's closet!
	Who's Karma does it contain?... We were all prepared to put everyone's name directly on this page, but alas a travel bug description is limited to only 5000 characters. So, click HERE to see a complete list cachers that have some of their Karma enclosed in the Karma Stick.

The Caching Karma Stick as of 7:55am MST on 02/27/07 has completed it's goal and reached the friend of 4agers in Tucson Arizona. One last hand off? Is this the last of the Karma Stick? Saw this walking stick in the hands of Shadow Ace at the Tucson Dinner Event #2. What a neat idea. If only it could talk and tell where it's been.

What a long strange trip it's been.... I first became aware of this unique and cosmically cool Travel Bug roughly 3 years ago, and like other Tucsonans, became excited at the prospect of it reaching (someday) the Old Pueblo. But weeks turned to months, and then to years, and it slowly faded from my mental radar. The amazing fact that it has now made it to Arizona, hand to hand by a long string of cachers, fills me with a good deal of happiness. While I spied it briefly at the event cache in Yuma a couple of weeks ago, I was so preoccupied with chasing my kids around that I didn't get a good peek. Luckily, it made it back to Tucson, and I got a chance to see it up close and personal-like at Sunday's event cache. Here's hoping a little good karma rubbed off from the stick to me. I know it's already made one incredible journey in the hands of ShadowAce, so rest assured that its travels will continue and meet many other cachers for years to come. --Dave, Team Cow Spots
