Hello!
Take me to all the 50 capitals in Europe. Take a photo of me and a famous building in each capital.
I like to move on. Dont keep me more than a week.
Take me back to Gävle in Sweden when i have visit all capitals.
The Gävle Goat is world’s largest Christmas goat of straw on wooden frames which since 1966 set upin Gävle, Sweden before the on Sunday of 1th Advent each year. The tradition is maintained by some local buissnes.
The Gävle Goat is erected every year on the first day of Advent, which according to Western Christian tradition is in late November or early December, depending on the calendar year. Because the fire station is close to the location of the goat, most of the time the fire can be extinguished before the wooden skeleton is severely damaged. If the goat is burned down before Lucia (feast day of Saint Lucy, 13 December), the goat has been rebuilt. The skeleton is then treated and repaired, and the goat reconstructed over it, using straw which the Goat Committee has pre-ordered.
From 1988 onward, English bookmakers took bets on the goat's survival. In 1996 the Southern Merchants introduced camera surveillance to monitor the goat 24 hours a day. The goat was in Guinnes World Record book.

Goodbye The Goat of Gävle, I’ve dropped you off after an event to see the Tower Bridge bascules raised in order for a boat to pass underneath. It was a condition of building the bridge that it did not obstruct river traffic. Originally, the bridge opened around 17 times a day whenever a boat arrived. Nowadays, you need to book an opening for your boat 24 hrs before you arrive. It’s still free though. It’s usually a fun thing to see except if you are caught unawares and need to get to the other side of the Thames. Good luck! 🚢

Pinch and a punch, it’s March. A quick trip into London for an event outside St Paul’s Cathedral. The present church was built in 1710. At 111m high, it was the tallest building in London from 1710 to 1963. ⛪️

Hej The Goat of Gävle, I picked you up from the big City Of London Leap Year event. It was in a pub that used to be a bank. Very busy and noisy. I’ve actually been to Gävle and seen the place where the Julbock stands. Unfortunately it was summer so no goat. I heard it got attacked by birds this year because there were too many seeds.
I can’t get your map or past visits to load on my iPad. This means there have been too many boring visits. 🇬🇧
