Current Goal

The mission of this travel bug is to promote support for the Humane Society and your local animal shelter. Please take care of our little TB and move it along. Every time someone posts a picture of their pet when they log moving/discovering this TB, team BeastieAndTheBoys will make a $5 donation to the Humane Society or the Brevard County Animal Shelter. We also encourage everyone who moves/discovers this bug to make a donation of their own.

About This Item

Helga

There's a place in your community where the hungry are fed, the homeless are sheltered, and the abandoned are comforted. It's your local animal shelter, where care is provided for your area's homeless animals. Shelters also offer many other services for pets and their owners—and even for people without pets. To do all this, they rely on the support of people like you.

Check out our three babies, Helga, Precious, and Daisy. Can you believe someone threw them out? All three were abandoned at the Brevard County Animal Shelter. Won't you please consider dropping by your local animal shelter and making a donation? Or think about the shelter before you run out to get your allegedly pure bred cat or dog for $400 from some dealer?

Found with my mom in Little Deer Isle with the whole family. She has logged it with a picture of her friends' dog Tanner and now has passed it along to my wife and I to post with a picture of our dog, Zoe. Thanks for the donations to the humane society...it is a great cause.

Found while geocaching with the family...am going to upload a picture of our friends dog, Tanner, with the travel bug and then pass along to my son and his wife to photograph it with their dog....Thanks for donating to a great cause. This was a great idea to tie this into geocaching.
