About This Item

Chain mail ball.

This is a ball made of chain mail rings. I produce chain mail armour as a hobby and as it was a long winter last year, I began making these balls as ornaments.The rings are all hand wound, cut, twisted and interlocked.

Grabbing it back out of a cache. BTW - the cache I found the TB in is up in the San Bernardino Mountains - in Big Bear, CA. It was in a beautiful meadow cache! Just thought you'd enjoy knowing that.

Discovered this one in GC147VK WPT349! It is not lost, just not logged into a cache! I'll drop it in the cache for miles and then pull it out and will move it along.

Missing from the listed cache, could the owner retrieve or mark as missing to remove the cache page icon so others are not disappointed? This does not affect the ability to log the traveler should it turn up one day in someones cache bag.

Totally my fault on this one. I'm the thief, the robber, the bad guy. Call me more names if you'd like. To be honest, I don't ever remember grabbing this TB, but I was cleaning out the car one day and there it was. I'll blame it on that Motley crew of geocachers I go geocaching with from time to time. They obviously planted it on me I tell you. Anyway, sorry for having it so long....and then not logging it. I was up in Big Bear with a bunch of boy scouts...teaching them how you shouldn't hold on to TBs for too long. Ain't I the hypocrite.
