Current Goal

My name is Mug Bug and I hope to visit many beer-lovers, homebrewers, and craft brewers and serve many tasty beers to people who like them. I'm a girl in case you couldn't tell. I hope to travel around the US (or anywhere else), encountering all manner of beers and meads, even wines would be just fine, especially those which are homemade or have never been on the road (beverages which are served where they're made). But I'm not particularly snobby and I love being anywhere humans are making merry with each other and beverage. It would be great to be back to visit swihart for her 51st birthday in December 2004, but failing that, Dec 2005 would be fine!

About This Item

Mug Bug is a beer tasting glass best described as a miniature tall, slender mug, about 4 or 5 oz. total volume. She originally came from AleSmith Brewing in San Diego, where RPW and swihart bought her. She travels with her protective wool sock.

We picked Mug Bug up from the Dali'Italia cache. I don't think we'll be using her to drink any homemade brews, but hopefully we will find a new home for her very soon.

Since Mug Bug seemed to enjoy herself so much helping Atrus and I in our beer and wine making, I thought she would like to try some fine Italian pasta to fortify herself before embarking on her future travels. She was looking a bit famished, so we dropped her off in this cache so that she could get her fill of this most wonderful and well loved cuisine.
