About This Item

car outside case

Remember to follow all Cannonball rules (currently here) , especially that TB’s can only move one state at a time, states must share a common geographic border. Open air, sun, lots of crazy people driving like maniacs... what a road trip! note: becauses of this racers large size, it has been equipped with its own carry/hiding case. The idea is that it should make it easier to find caches to drop the TB off at since it won't need to fit into the cache. econdary Goal: To outrun Cannonball Cop's Cop Car-2005 to the Finish Line!

For us, caching also means changing the direction of our gaze. Many caches lead us to places that no tourist enters...the small "hidden gems" of a country...we often find those little quiet places...and it is here that you can hear yourself again. Away from the noise, you can let the quiet peace of the place flood you with new energy or warm and touch you with various strong and weak rays of the sun. Caching means perceiving places and being told new stories that make you step back from your own.
For us, caching means travelling to a world outside our head, just to find ourselves again...
And that we are not alone in this is proven by the many small travel bugs that we were able to collect in countless logbooks along the way... many thanks for that...

BlueDragonflies sent me an email and asked what I want done with this TB.
I would like to see it moving again, to continue its orginal mission would be great. The checkpoint cache is still out, the final might be too, but even getting to the same area in NY would fine ;)

A young, hippyish couple from southern Washington who called themselves the "Roadtrippers" stumbled across this little green beauty a couple of years back...They smuggled it out intending to move it on, but became severely distracted (as only a couple of muggles can). BlueDragonflies inherited the 2005 Cannonball relic from the roadtripper duo and we are now trying to figure out what we should do with it...Does it need to find it's way back to it's original owner (who will be contacted shortly), or does it need to find another destination? We shall see--we thought that it was kinda' cool to see this lost little dude resurface! Who knows what the future holds?
