To have his picture taken with as many geocachers and cacher's canine companions as possible.
This is "The Beast that Barks" TB.
He is a living, breathing, barking TB and is my constant companion on geocaching trips. Despite his looks The Beast is a very friendly TB, he is a softie that never bites, and would like to have his picture taken with cachers, and cacher’s canine companions, from all over. If you see him at caches, geocaching events, out in the field or just around out and about please feel free to log him.
How do you log him you ask?
A. - As with all TBs you need to discover his serial number which hangs around his neck – well it is a dog-tag after all! This will give you 10 points on The Beast’s virtual scorecard.
B. - If you email me his real name (also hanging around his neck) through my profile you gain an addition 10 points.
C. - For a further 10 points take a picture of yourself with The Beast and attach the picture to your log of this TB.
Enter your score when you post your finder's log.
Beastophobic Log
I appreciate that some cachers are not Beast confident and will not be prepared to approach him intimately enough to meet the logging criteria above. In such circumstances either ask me to assist you with A and B, for wich you only get 5 points, or alternatively take a picture of The Beast (with me to prove it’s not just another Beast-a-like) and email me the picture through my profile and I’ll send you the tracking number - this will earn you 15 points (5 for the log and 10 for the photo).
Acknowledgements
My special thanks go to the mtngirls for this TB tag which they kindly let me win at their very successful Quantocks Cache Bash in June 2006. My apologies to them it has taken me so long to get the right inspiration to release it. Thanks are also due to the Bananaboat (YJTB) which inspired me to create The Beast that Barks TB.

Met the Beast on a night cache, and he looked bit frightening wearing his custom head torch, but he really is a big softy. Woof WooF

All of us loved meeting The Beast on a night caching adventure, and he eventually stayed still long enough for us to read his tag 🙂 Needless to day, The Beast was better behaved than the younger members of our own caching party!

Discovered on the Beast that Barks on a very cold Blues at Blaise event. I have met the Beast before on Youtube; s/he features on the FollowMeChaps's Christmas electronic missive (I always knew FMC was a technophile). Lovely to meet in the flesh. And the humans too - it's been a long while. So that's 20 points. Photo of Beast currently not available - phone and computer not talking to each other.
