Onkel Otto ist seit 1958 das Maskottchen des Hessischen Rundfunks. Im Regionalprogrammfenster "Das Erste" kommt er zwischen den einzelnen Werbespots zum Einsatz.

Onkel Otto ist ein grauer Fern-See Hund, der in den 1950er Jahren von Hans Fischerkoesen geschaffen wurde. Gezeichnet wurde er von Heinz Tischmeyer.
