The long term goal is to travel to Kitty Hawk, OBX, North Carolina, spend some time there, and then head back home to Scotland. If I need to travel round the world to get there then that's fine too.
The Boss spent the summer of 2004 living there, he's told me all about it, and I want to experience it for myself.

| Hey there, my names Ralf, Ralf Buxton. I spend most of my time hanging out with The Boss (SoothSinger). He's cool. We swap stories, watch DVD's and have the occasional drink together. His geocaching stories are fantastic, he tells me about all the items he finds in fantastic places. I was amazed at how trackables move around the world, and I thought I'd give it a shot. The Boss has said he'd help me with my travels, he's purchased a travel bug and attached me to it. You see, out of all the stories The Boss tells me, there is one that has captured my imagination. When The Boss was 20, he moved to Kitty Hawk, North Carolina, USA for the summer. That was 5 years ago now, back in 2004. |

The Boss went out there with 2 of his friends, and made loads of friends out there. I hope I get to meet plenty of friends when I finally make it to OBX. Everyone in the house worked for Kitty Hawk Sports, which is a watersports/retail company in the Outer Banks. Although everyone was there to work, they done more than just work... parties most nights, surfing and hanging out at the beach, road trips, beer pong, and did I mention parties? He told me all about the Kill Devil Grill, The Just For The Beach and Fudgery workers, The Wright Brothers Memorial, Nags Head, the beach, all the fantastic views and loads of other stuff. This is when I decided, I wanted to go on my own adventure. |
| The Boss said that I'm old enough now to go an adventure of my own. He's attached a Kitty Hawk keyring to me, and he said that I should travel via geocache. I agree. Just think of all the amazing people that are going to help me along my adventure, not only that but think of all the amazing places I'll be staying while traveling to OBX. Its the perfect way to do it |

So that's my story really. I hope you like me, and I cant wait to meet you. When I get to Kitty Hawk in America you'll need to help me take some pictures to send back to The Boss. He'd be sooo happy to see me enjoying myself there like he did.
Please keep me moving as much as possible, I'm extremely keen to meet as many people as possible. I don't mind if I travel the world while on my way to Kitty Hawk.......actually it would be an added bonus!
