Staying by water (ocean, river, lakes, etc...) to spread awareness for National Bone Marrow Donation and bethematch.org in order to help cure blood cancers like Leukemia and Lymphona.
Found as a First to Find at Danger in Lake Lanier! Within 10 days of finding this coin, our 2 year old niece was just diagnosed with Leukemia and begins treatment 7/1/14. We have been on the bone marrow donor list for quite some time now for Be the Match and hope to urge others to sign up as well. There are many patients similar to my niece who are also in need for a match!
Update: After a failed transplant, our niece lost her battle to Leukemia AML in July 2015 at the age of 3. She is missed every day! Please continue to raise awareness for bethematch.org as our trackable continues to log miles!
