I start the week off sick as a dog. I was cooped up in the house all week until today when I needed to bring my son to lacrosse practice. To my delight, I discover that the Lafayette-Moraga Trail is right next to where he is practicing! Longing for some fresh air & sunshine, I set off for a leisurely walk on the trail. (Of course I remember to bring a pen just in case I stumble upon a friendly geocache. ;-) I find one magnetic one on the bridge right off the bat near my starting point. I keep walking and enjoy the gorgeous weather & the fact that I am blessed with quick healing (& antibiotics) that make it possible for me to embrace this fine day. I see this geocache on my radar, but it appears that it is up in the woods & I do not have appropriate footwear to tackle this climb. As it turns out, as I wind my way around the lovely trails, I realize that this medium-sized cache is within my grasp! I decide to go for it up the hill! I was breathing a little heavier than usual because of my illness, but I know it will be worth my while! Sure enough, I find it in the hollow of a magnificent tree! I do believe (& my geocaching daughter agrees) that this is the prettiest geocoin we have seen! Thank you for sharing. We love seeing where they originate and where they go.
