Going APE 2014
Out this way from Nashua, New Hampshire! With a lot of planning the dream to make it to Seattle for the Geocaching Block Party has finally come to fruition! I'm all about the Project A.P.E. caches and all the Planet of the Apes Film/Series! I even flew all the way out to Brazil so I could log a find on the Legendary Last APE cache! So you could say this event was way up there on my Bucket List! I absolutely loved this event and walking the 2.3 mile Tunnel of Light! After the amazing hike though the mountain I was very excited o be able to make a find on Mission 9: Tunnel of Light Reclaimed. All the caches in the area were wonderful as well! On our return trip we used the red lights and had them directed to the ground so we could be seen but walked the distance was without the use of light. It was amazing! We spent the rest of our time there picking up Lab caches (an awesome addition to our hobby/obsession)! Thank you for hosting this Amazing event and making what it was for us!
On our way home off 90, we made a stop to log a cache near Tree House Point, a treehouse hotel made by Pete Nelson of the show Treehouse Masters. Awesome place and find!
