Heinrich Cotta (1763-1844) war einer der Begründer nachhaltiger Forstwirtschaft in Deutschland. Sein Wirkungsfeld war zunächst die thüringische Rhön (später Sachsen), wo er in einem Forsthaus unweit des Dorfes Zillbach das Licht der Welt erblickt hatte. Auf folgendem Wander-Blog findet sich eine Kurzbiographie.
Die Lederplakette des Travel-Bug wurde mir vor Jahren vom Leiter des kleinen Zillbacher Museums geschenkt. Sie ist eine nette kleine Reminiszenz an vergangene DDR-Zeiten.
