In the beginning of the 1972-73 season of The Brady Bunch, a three-part episode was filmed in Hawaii (see below). Much of the storyline revolves around bad luck that the Brady family experiences after Bobby finds an ancient tiki. They are told the only way to get rid of it is to place it in an ancient burial ground.
Well, the Bradys got rid of the tiki, and you just found it. So, to avoid bad luck, a surfing accident, a tarantula in your bed, or exposure to polyester bell-bottoms, you need to "bury" this tiki in another cache as soon as possible.
For your own safety, please don't keep me -- please keep me moving!!!

Mike is sent to Hawaii to check on a construction project, and his firm allows him to take his whole family and Alice along. The family takes an enjoyable tour of Hawaii. Along the way, Bobby discovers an ancient tiki, which is told will bring him bad luck. The Brady boys laugh at the curse, but then start to think different when Greg gets into a serious surfing accident. The children also learn about the history and legends of Pearl Harbor and Cindy is pleased to have Don Ho serenade her.

The tiki continues to bring bad luck to the family: Greg is reeling from his surfing crash, a wall hanging almost hits Bobby, and a tarantula attacks Peter. At one point, Bobby tries to get rid of the tiki, but it is returned to him by an unknowing Jan. The boys learn that the idol must be discarded at an ancient burial ground for the curse to be removed.

An archaeologist, believing the boys have come to steal his latest "find," holds them captive on the burial grounds. After the girls reveal their siblings' whereabouts, Mike rescues his sons, then convinces the professor that they have no intention of claiming credit for finding the burial grounds. A Hawaiian party wraps up the Bradys' latest vacation.
