About this item:
Uranium Doped Marble. More commonly known as "vaseline glass," these marbles have been doped with around 3% uranium dioxide to give them a slight yellowish color and a beautiful flourescence under longwave ultraviolet light. A single marble emits very low gamma and beta radiation, so they are perfectly safe to handle.

Passei a tarde lá no rio a dar uns mergulhos e lembrei-me de voltar a cache e buscar o meu primeiro TB :) A unica observação que tenho a fazer, é que a bola de vidro já nao existe, deve-se ter soltado. Ou se calhar nao vi bem na box da cache :S

Detectei em 2 irmãs gémeas desta TB que a esfera de vidro (berlinde) se descola facilmente do suporte em Ouro. Assim, se por acaso algum dos Geocachers detectar esta deficiência, solicito-lhe que use um tipo forte de cola, tipo Cianolito, para voltar a fixar a dita cuja ao dito cujo. Muito obrigado.
