Guardian of the Cache

This is the special edition coin of the July, 2008 Geocoin Club Coin.

We had internally dubbed this "the beast coin" because of the Gargoyle guarding the cache it features. This is a tip of the hat to those caches which just won't die. The ones you DNF 8 times while others log "Found it easily, TNLNTFTC" and you groan. Or the 1/1's that you turn into 5/5's by "taking a shortcut". Some caches, no matter what their rating, just don't give up the smiley without a fight.

This coin sale is only open to subscribers of the Geocoin Club. Each month, we produce a set of SE coins from the original design. SE coins are minted in quantities of less than 200 and the actual mintage quantity will be published in the following month's newsletter.
