Rabid Hamster

There is a running gag in the Groundspeak Forums about leaving live hamsters as trade items in geocaches. This Hamster is running like crazy, like a RABID HAMSTER, searching from cache to cache to find other GeoHamsters. Please help by moving the rabid hamster to another geocache within 50 miles of zip code 15222 (downtown Pittsburgh). Leave some food in the cache with him (just kidding, of course). And hope that someone finds that cache... QUICKLY!

Yay! I am finally reunited with my hamster travel bug. My dad drove me out to find it now that it was moving around again. I was so happy to see him. I'm going to hang onto him for a little bit and then release him again.

Got in a quick cache while running a work errand on the North Shore. Grabbed the Rabid Hamster TB from Ben Herr. Will be placing the Rabid Hamster shortly in another cache....(most likely in the South Hills) Hopefully today after work....as long as the kids don't have much homework. Thanks!

After contacting the prior holder, they wrote back and said they had placed the hamster in a cache! Yay! I love hamsters in caches. Grabbing it so that I can drop the hamster into his new home.

A nice little furry surprise awaited our discovery inside the Bad O'Hair Day cache. This cache took us a while to find, so it was nice to discover a Travel Bug inside. This is our first travel bug find. As requested we will keep him in the Pittsburgh area. Looking forward to placing him in a new cache home soon. We'll be sure to update the log with his new placement.
