Current Goal

I'm not your ordinary Doornob! I'm a Marlin Lure..... yes, my old master dragged me around the ocean for many miles behind his boat. He wanted some great big, mean, pointed nose fish to try to eat me so that he could eat the fish!! He's a cruel one, that old master. But I fooled him, I stayed quiet and no big fish ever found me. The old master has banished me to the cold Old Country.... I'm not sure I like that but hey... get me to the UK, somewhere around Land's End so that Dave can pick me up and find me a nice cosy place in his cottage...

About This Item

This is a genuine Doornob Marlin Lure. It never caught a fish in all the mile it travelled around Jervis Bay and South East Queensland. It can do a useful thing now and find Dave, whose wife may not thank me for cluttering up the cottage......

After a short visit to the original stash tribute plaque cache including a photo op, we grabbed doorknob to leave him closer to the ocean.

We left the doornob here by the ocean. We had a lot of fun showing it to others. But are glad we got to bring it here to the Pacific North West where it will have many great adventures.
