Visited The Netherlands the first time just this November. Amsterdam was lovely; truly enjoyed Volendam & Edam; fell in love with Kinderdijk... Apparently, my Irish ancestors came through The Netherlands on the way to the New World (we've been here a couple hundred years). It felt... familiar. Though, no, you are NOT going to get me to eat eel. Nope. Nope. Nope.
