I just want to swim from cache to cache. Hopefully I'll inspire people.
A "JESUS" fish keychain. The fish was a very important symbol in the early church. Jesus called his disciples, some of whom were fishermen, to become fishers of men. "Come, follow me," Jesus said, "and I will make you fishers of men." -Mark 1:17 (NIV)
The fish also represents God's love, grace, and power. Twice in the Bible, Jesus feeds large crowds by praying over a small meal (containing bread & fish), and the meal feds everyone! Matthew 14:15 is where Jesus feeds the crowd of 5000, while Mathew 15:29 is where Jesus feeds a crowd of 4000.
The fish was also a sign of fellowship when Christians were being persecuted. One person would draw half of the fish, while the second man would finish it, if the second man was a Christian.
