HELDEN

Update April 2015:

Saxo-Fun again made quite a trip with HELDEN through southern states, conquered Louisiana state and dropped him in New York. Good to be back here. Mabe a chance to go west and see some of the US heartland states or even come north to Nebraska, Iowa, North- or South Dakota? That be great.
Again many thanks to Saxo-Fun for taking so much care for my travel-bug.

Update December 2014:

Toycruiser dropped Helden into a cache in Nevada, after visiting half of the USA and a couple counties in southern America. Helden visited approximately 150 different caches during that time...What can I say but WOW :-)

So after more than two years of travel Helden has seen almost half of the states and traveled 112'000 km or 70'000 miles. Would be perfect to move on to the heartlands, where we have still quite a few grey spots...

Update October 2014:

Helden is still on its way in the hands of toycruiser. That fellow showed Willi quite some nice places and made him conquer the State of Orgeon. But...ohhhhh...this was not all: Helden saw in the meantime a lot of California and visited a number of caches related to the X-files, made trips to New York, Mexico, Belize and Honduras. Helden has travelled in the meantime over 100'000 km in the save hands of cachers. Really a great job and a lot of fun to observe. Many thanks to toyracer and all the other cachers that take great care for that coin that means much to me.

Update August 2014:

Helden made quite a jump to the North and came to Washington State after a lil hideaway in Canada. Thanks to misstinasmommy who conquered another state together with my travelbug. Time to see some of the northern states of the USA after travelling around more in the South...already 80'000 km on the road, what an adventure :-)

Update July 2014:

OMG, my hero is again dropped in a cache in Arkansas. Conquered another state with the great help of 2gather. ARRRKANSAS is mine;-) But not only got a new state colored on my flag (Nr. 24), but seen almost every cache in TX, as 2gather took me to over 150 individual boxes to see. Wonderful job. Thanks so much for! No wonder that my HERO has already almost 90'000 km of travel done since dropped in Florida. 

Update February 2014:

Wowowow, that never stops. Hero travelled for quite some time with Climberkayaker, a retired pilot, who has shown Willi so many wonderful places in the US. Many thanks and happy geocaching for you my friend. I updated the country map with two light green spots conquered by Climberkayaker (Illinois and Colorado).

Update November 2013:

Another chapter in Hero's phantastic travel. This time an exceptional effort from accident rice, who took Hero to four new states in the north-east of the US. Wowowowow. Hero and his owner soooo enjoyed seeing these states and very much appreciated all the pics that were posted on his home page. Many thanks to accident rice, all my best wishes and tons of fun going geocaching;-)

Introduction to the travel of HELDEN:

After travelling through southern Sweden, Northern Germany and central Switzerland, we 
will drop HERO during our vacation in Florida. From there Willi shall travel through all US
states. We will record his travel as follows:

- Each state visited by HERO will be colored (all greyish/black states are unvisited)
- The Cacher taking HERO as the first one into a new state will be named on the state map.
- We would love to have a picture of the cacher conquering a new state with our TB.

After Will has visited all states, he shall travel back to Switzerland to be dropped in

TRAVEL BUG: HEROS

This is the third TB that i set free. The first two ones were dropped in Mallorca last summer, but both got stolen;-( Maybe the finders just found them too nice;-). So in a desperate try I sent HERO on its way in Hamburg a couple months ago. And he travelled on some wonderful routes:

This TB is dedicated to all heros of the world...
The one you find on the silver coin is Wilhelm Tell, the Swiss national hero (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wilhelm_Tell). I owned this coin for over 20 years and it was coined in my year of birth.

But this TB is also dedicated to all heros we know and hear about every day; and no less to all the ones  that become heros without anyone taking notice of...
