This is a cool historic cemetary with a lot of history, the cache owner put a lot of effort into researching and setting up this easy multi. Good travels Red Jeep!

OK, now that you've seen the Ranch, let's motor on.

    Welcome to the Ranch!

In thinking about the theme for July (American Heritage), I immediately thought of my own ranch. Our land was homesteaded to a family of Italian immigrants, who built up their ranching business, and sold fresh meats and vegetables in a small market they opened in town.

The building in the foreground of the first image is a small barn where we currently store hay. In the background is a slaughterhouse where the livestock was processed before sale. The second image is a detail of the barn and features my best working sheepdog, Rose.

While not native Americans, the Raggio family embodied much of what America was founded upon - hard work and entrepreneurship. We are proud to be a part of this interesting American Heritage.

Hmm...this arrived already activated. The jeep.geocaching.com site isn't setup yet. Guess we'll just 4-wheel it around here for a bit.
