Current Goal

This is one of two Help for Heroes geocoins that were released to roam the globe in October 2009. One represents Ruby and the other Reed. As well as having lots of adventures there is a charitable purpose to their journey. The owner of the coin travelling the least distance in the first year will make a £50 (€54, $80) donation to the Help for Heroes charity. We will not reveal which coin belongs to whom to avoid favouritism but please move the coin on quickly and record their movements at www.geocaching.com. After that first year we hope they continue to travel and meet new people who will appreciate them before helping them on their way.

About This Item

Size: 70mm x 37.5mm x 5mm - This geocoin is big, chunky and very heavy weighing it at 118g so if flying beware of baggage limits!! Front Colours: A black border with the Union Jack paint filled and epoxy coated for durability. Rear: Black imitation hard enamel on border, silhouette and text, the medal ribbon is in imitation hard enamel. The tracking code is laser engraved and filled with black paint. It travels with a laminated note explaining it’s mission. It's rival is HH5C0W.
