Oh WAIL and gnashing of teeth
Terrible things on the ET run
Between the Villain and the next cachers
An awful unlawful thing was done!
0001-E.T.'s ammo can
A fine piece of geoArt
Was ABDUCTED from its boxy spot
Imagine our sinking hearted start
When we stopped back to check
And toss in spare film cans from the trek
To find an EMPTY ET nest
Oh, our caches spirits are a wreck!

It's true, between The Villain's team and the following cachers, the ET ammo box and all its contents, including the gargoyle was stolen by beings unknown.
AUGH!!!!

I hope Gargoyle BITES 'em.

Discovered it as it was hanging out in the ET Highway Cache!!

Dropped Off 11/17/2011 Tygress placed it in 0001-E.T. Nevada - 217.1 miles  Visit Log

The ET Highway's a cachin' road
The ET Highway's a road to cache
Load your coords in, good to go-go-go
1500 ETs for your dash!

And that's just for starters!

Figure this gets a lot of activity (several cachers a week). Ciao!

No gargoyles haunt this London bridge
(Though perhaps they should!)
Still THIS gargoyle had some fun
Visiting this "London" 'hood!

In the middle of Arizona!!!

Hey, stone face!
Here's a lot of stone to look at
URPs out the wazoo
Each with a film can nougat
And we did 'em
Stop/start/stop/start/STOP
Over 700 times today alone
800 plus, Route 66 topping off the profile tank.
Whee!

This gargoyle got around!

A gargoyle has a stoic face
Sometimes hard to read
But I think this one's like a dog
Hoping we'll put on speed!
Well, no breeze for hanging out the window
Though that's the position the runner takes
As we head off down the Route 66
Ev'ry 10th mile applying BRAKES!!!

It will be fun! 800 caches (plus!!!!) along the Route 66!
Of course, you're only getting logs for 001 and 800, but you get the miles, Bebe!

Discovered this one in Suspicious Activity. I was also there when we found that it has been apparently lost when the original ET Highway - 001 was muggled. 😟

You mentioned liking henges
Well, here's one of a sort
Though the stones aren't exactly standing
Moonlight does quite cavort
Painting the pale hewn limestone
In a ghostly glow
On such a night as this one
Gargoyles fly to and fro...

Three great blocks of limestone laying there in the grass. Very odd. But a good place for a cache, and since it's called 'Baby Stonehenge' -- well, you HAD to stop by. Meanwhile, have a 'Stonehenge' photo from my files to add to your gallery....
