I want this fleur-de-lis to visit as many states as possible and finally wind up in Cajun Country.
I just returned from a trip to visit my sister-in-law in Natchitoches, LA. My brother, who died in 2005, taught in the university here. I sang at tmy sister-in-law's Presbyterian church and my 2 nephews from Shreveport and 1 from Lafayette joined us for lunch on Saturday. Great time, great weather. "Steel Magnolias" was filmed in this city and these fleur-de-lis are all over the place. A key chain with a fleur-de-lis in the center and Louisiana written on the outside.
