Current Goal

To visit every county in England (and by this I mean the historic counties as per the list below) and have a photo taken with something quintesentially British or related to the county e.g for Wiltshire it could be Stonehenge, for Devon it could be a cream tea etc.

About This Item

This coin is attached to a Travel Bug passport. Please only fill in and sign the passport when it arrives in a new county.

Please also make sure that if you are signing the passport for a county, your log indicates which county you are claiming!

When it has visited every county please get it home to Swindon, Wiltshire so that I can replace the passport and send it to Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland.

    I'm loving some of the places that you are taking our coin - especially as unkonow to you all, they mean something special to us!

    Redvark - thanks for dropping it at Cropredy Bridge. We sailed under it on our narrowboat holiday last year and had no idea there was a geocache nearby. But we had a great meal in the Red Lion pub when we stopped there for the night!

    Mitch.mob - many thanks for retrieving our coin from Wales and taking it to my home county. I spent many happy days as a youngster wandering around the sculpture trail and I love the "cathedral" so it was a great choice of cache!

    Looking forward to seeing where it goes next - we're getting through that county list quite well! 😁
