This is Scott, the son of cacher dweez. He'd like to eventually get home to Holland, while seeing some interesting sites around the world along the way.

About This Item

Scott (going home to Holland)

In January of 2008, we found a small photograph in a ziplock bag at the final of a four-stage multicache. On the front was a smiling little boy, and on the back was written:
"I'm Scott Eckelschot. Bring me home to Holland. -- Dweez"

We looked at the past logs for the cache, and saw that the picture had been placed there in 2006 by Scott's dad, and had not moved since then. (link to log) We felt bad for poor Scott, and decided to help him on his way by turning his picture into a travel bug.

We attached a TB tag and a little plastic boy standing in almost the same pose as Scott, and sent him off into the world. Good luck and happy travels, Scott!

Woohoo! Scott made it home! ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘

Thanks so much to all of the cachers who took part in his 5000-mile journey, and thanks to dweez for picking him up at the end!

So many of our bugs and coins go missing -- it's great to have a success story. ๐Ÿ˜

Grab It (Not from a Cache) 10/9/2010 dweez grabbed it   Visit Log

At last Scott is home!!!!!!
due to a team effort of vanbaarsel and dweez we found the cache "het scheepsverhaal".

I would like to thank the Hermit Crabs very much for their effort to make a |TB out of my picture and all the other geocachers who made Scott's travel possible..
I will try to return this favor by making a TB with the goal to travel to Berlin MA.

Briljant! Wij komen aan bij de cache en daar staat iemand te zoeken. Deze cache is door hem lang geleden in de USA gedropt en nu "in de buurt". Leuke vondst, we hebben hem na het retrieven gelijk aan de andere cacher gegeven!

Although it has been a couple of times in Holland, I will bring it (again) to its destiny. Hopefully it will now stay there for a longer time
