About This Item

This Travel Tag/ trackable Token is to help Celebrate the 75th Anniversary of Camp Davis, located in the town of Holy Ridge, NC 28445.  A WW2 Army Base erected around December 10th, 1940.The first Cadre arriving in April 1941. Camp Davis was the olny Post in that time with 3 principle elements; anti-aircraft, seacoast defense and barrage balloon under one commmand. After the War, the Camp Davis Command was assumed by the US Marine Corp. There are also close ties to Operation Bumble-Bee located on Topsail Island,NC28445   LOTS OF HISTORY HERE!
