Current Goal

To find Big Bangs wherever they may be hiding. Don't forget to tell about the adventure.

About This Item

Robert Wilson won the Nobel Prize with Arno Penzias for the discovery of the Big Bang in 1965, at Bell Laboratories Telegraph Hill facility in Holmdel, NJ. Nobody is quite sure why the Big Bang was hiding in Holmdel, but probably somebody had earlier placed it in a cache there.

Will try to find a good spot for this very nice coin. We own some of these also, but really enjoyed finding someone else's.

Took 2 tries but we found the cache and got the coin. We will place it in a cache that will be more accessable as winter approaches. The one it was in will probably not be findable once all the leaves are down, not to mention snow!

Nice spot here. I eliminated all background noises but still heard a watery splashing sound. I am concluding that this is positive evidence that the universe was created by the bursting of a big water ballon. Let me know when my Nobel prize is ready. (of course, the noise may have been Jackson Brook...). BANG!
